PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - State police and the Department of Transportation are investigating several pornographic e-mails that were sent using state e-mail addresses. The Providence Journal reports that several e-mails containing graphic sex acts were forwarded by state troopers and a female employee at the DOT.
Often, they were sent to other state e-mail addresses.
The e-mail policies of both state departments prohibit using state e-mail addresses for sending anything vulgar or obscene.
State Police Major Steven O’Donnell says if anyone violated the policy, they will be disciplined.
Dana Nolfe of the DOT says it will take strong action against anyone who broke the rules.
